If we decide you have potential to succeed on our team, let’s talk! There are two types of interviews in our hiring process: an initial phone interview with recruiters and then subsequent in-person interviews. Between each round, we gather feedback from your interviewers and determine next steps.

Advisors Excel has a lengthy hiring process (which can take several weeks), but that’s because we love the culture we’ve built here, and we’re protective of that. We do our best to keep you up to date with where your applications stand, but please never hesitate to reach out to your recruiter if you have any questions.

Can I apply for multiple jobs?

While it’s OK to apply for several jobs, we encourage you to look at the job duties, identify what interests you and only apply for that specific role. It will help our recruiters identify what you’re really interested in doing for a career and assist them in finding the best fit for you!

When will I expect to hear something?

Our goal is to keep candidates up to date quickly, but sometimes our recruiters are awaiting feedback from other leadership within the company. We ask that you allow our recruiting team around two weeks to contact you from your first initial application, but always know you can reach out to follow up on your application if you haven’t heard something.

What if I need a special accommodation for the interview?

Please be assured we are committed to confidentiality and professionalism throughout the entire hiring process. Let us know upfront if you need special accommodations for your interview, and we will do our best to help you prepare for success. These things include: If you need access to an ASL interpreter, have a service animal or require wheelchair accessibility.

Will you let me know if/when a job has been filled?

Yes! We will always notify candidates either way, no matter where we’re at in the process. We know job searching can be a long and exhausting process, and we want to be as informative as possible to help you find what you’re looking for.
