As a business, we’ve been able to make a difference in the lives of our advisors and in those they serve by fostering a culture of community where independent insurance agents and financial advisors are empowered to engage, share and learn from one another. Adhering to our four core principles — the most important being “always do the right thing” — has also been instrumental in our ability to affect the lives of our clients and the people they serve.

We’ve expanded that culture and that principle into our community, working to help address some of the most pressing problems facing the community, and providing opportunities for those who work with us to do the same.

As a company, Advisors Excel contributes financially to a variety of causes and organizations each year, but we’re committed to being more than a financial benefactor. We seek to help by deploying our greatest resource, the more than 400 staff members who make up Advisors Excel. Each quarter, every member of Advisors Excel spends one afternoon volunteering in our community, helping to advance the causes and organizations dedicated to any of the four key pillars that make up our community engagement efforts.




Advisors Excel started a new holiday tradition in 2015, partnering with local television station WIBW to grant one wish a day for each day between Thanksgiving and Christmas to members of the Topeka community in need. The program was so successful, we continued it throughout the following year, fulfilling at least one request each month.



In 2015, Advisors Excel committed $500,000 toward the nation’s domestic hunger-relief efforts, helping provide 5 million meals across the country over the next five years. A substantial portion will directly impact Harvesters in our community of Topeka, Kansas, which is the local Feeding America® member food bank.

We took our commitment to helping end the problem of hunger one step further by providing the financial professionals we work with the opportunity to partner with Feeding America® in a similar manner, helping to address hunger in their own communities. More than 800,000 meals were provided in communities across the country through this effort.


Each year at our signature World Series of Sales event, we join with our top clients to give back and share our financial resources with one deserving organization. Since 2009, we’ve been able to raise more than $1.5 million to help incredible charities and amazing organizations around the country, including The V Foundation for Cancer Research, the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, Payton’s “Play It Forward” Foundation, the Make-A-Wish Foundation® and the United Service Organizations.
