At Advisors Excel, we are incredibly blessed to work not only with several of the biggest producers in the country but many of the most generous as well. As we have continued to enjoy increasing success together over the years, we've marked our World Series of Sales event as an annual opportunity to give back and share our financial resources with a number of amazing causes and organizations.

2015 — Make-A-Wish Foundation®

In 2015, our producers took their giving to a whole new level! We once again partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation®, a remarkable organization dedicated to enriching the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Together, we helped grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. We hoped we’d be able to raise enough money at the World Series of Sales in Orlando to grant the wishes of 50 children — one from each state — to go to Disney World. Instead, thanks to the donations of our incredibly generous producers and a matching donation from AE, we raised $600,000 — enough to grant a total of 60 wishes in one single night!

Throughout 2015, we’re aiming to up that number to 100 hope-inspiring wishes.

2013, 2014 — United States Organizations (USO)

Advisors Excel first partnered with the United Service Organizations (USO) — a nonprofit organization that’s been lifting the spirits of troops and military families around the world for more than 70 years — during the World Series of Sales 2013 in Dallas, when, together with its producers, the company raised a total of $225,000 for the organization. In 2014, the World Series of Sales was hosted in Washington, D.C., and AE again partnered with the USO to help provide our military heroes with a “touch of home” through a number of much-needed, morale-boosting programs and services. That year, the AE founders presented the USO with a check for $300,000!

2012 — Make-A-Wish Foundation®

At the World Series of Sales 2012 in Los Angeles, Advisors Excel and its producers raised $115,000 to help the Make-A-Wish Foundation® grant wishes for a number of children in the Los Angeles area. Diana, a 6 year old living with acute lymphatic leukemia, received her very own iPad. Ella, a beautiful 4-year-old girl battling a brain tumor, was given the backyard playground of her dreams. Kyle, a brave 16 year old fighting kidney disease, was sent to Italy to visit the Sistine Chapel. Bella, a wonderful 18 year old battling cancer, was taken on an all-expenses-paid shopping spree for gizmos and gadgets at Best Buy.

2011 — Payton’s ‘Play It Forward’ Foundation

In 2011, at the World Series of Sales in New Orleans, something amazing happened. Advisors Excel teamed up with New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton and Payton’s “Play It Forward” Foundation. Formed in 2008, the foundation raises funds for organizations working with disadvantaged families and children throughout New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. Our pooled donations were specifically directed to support the renovation of the North Rampart Community Center in the French Quarter — a beacon of light to more than 250 children and their families. The center was devastated by Hurricane Katrina in 2005, and though volunteers made it possible to reopen the doors, much work was still needed to make the center fully operational. Advisors Excel made a difference by donating $100,000, on top of the more than $45,000 raised by our producers, making an enormous impact in the New Orleans community. Funds were used to install new sports turf, add reinforced building supports, improve security features, purchase much-needed recreational supplies and replace a wood gym floor that dated back to 1920.

2010 — Special Operations Warrior Foundation

In 2010, our producers joined forces with the Special Operations Warrior Foundation — an amazing organization that provides full-scholarship grants and counseling to the surviving children of special operations personnel who have died in operational or training missions, as well as immediate financial assistance to severely wounded special operations personnel and their families. Aboard the USS Midway in San Diego, we were able to make a difference by offering more than $70,000 in raised funds for those who have dutifully served our country and the family members who have been impacted by their service.

2009 — The V Foundation for Cancer Research

In 2009, we partnered with Hall of Fame basketball analyst Dick Vitale to raise money for The V Foundation for Cancer Research, an organization that started in 1993 to honor Dick's close personal friend, Jim Valvano. From the very humble beginnings of Jim's personal friends and family, The V Foundation grew. Today, that circle of friends has expanded, and the support structure of The V Foundation includes people of all walks of life, those who knew Jim personally, those who knew of Jim and many who have joined the cause simply because they believe in the possibility of his final wish — to fund research to find cures for cancer. Advisors Excel was grateful to hand Dick Vitale a check for more than $100,000 to help in the fight.
