Job Duties/Responsibilities at Advisors Excel:
As the Director of Marketing Oversight, Randy strives to protect the reputation and enhance the integrity of Advisors Excel and our valued producers. Having spent his entire career in the financial services industry, he understands and appreciates the challenges FMO’s and producers face in today’s dynamic regulatory environment. It is his charge and desire to add value to your business by informing and advising you on matters concerning suitability, advertising compliance, and other general regulatory matters. 

Background:
Randy has 18 years of experience in the financial services industry and 10 years in management. Prior to joining Advisors Excel, he spent 13 years at Aviva, working primarily with Traditional and Fixed Indexed Annuities. He filled many roles while working in both the Compliance and Product Management areas; the last three years were spent managing the team responsible for developing, filing and implementing all new annuity products.  Prior to Aviva, Randy spent several years in finance-related roles including Director of Finance for a small, local health insurance company and as Comptroller for the KS Insurance Department. 

Education:
Randy earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Finance from Kansas State University.

Family Information:
Randy is married to his lovely wife, Nancy, and they have three sons - Ryan, Blake and Logan.  Nancy is an R.N. in the Emergency Room at St. Francis Hospital and the boys are always busy with either school or sports. Also part of the family is Dynamite (cat), Boomer (black Lab) and Bella (Newfoundland).

Job Duties/Responsibilities at Advisors Excel:
As General Counsel, David is responsible for seeing to Advisors Excel's legal needs and ensuring that it continues to operate at the highest standard.  

Education and Background:
David graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.A in Literature with Dean's Honors from Washburn Law School and was a member of the Washburn Law Journal. Prior to joining Advisors Excel, he worked as an attorney for the Kansas Court of Appeals.

Family Information:
David grew up in Topeka. His wife Natalie is a language arts teacher at Seaman High School, and they currently live in Lawrence.

When asked what he liked most about her job at Advisors Excel, this is what David had to say:
I like working for a growing company that cares about doing things the right way. It's a lot of fun working in such a dynamic environment, and I love the fact that no two days are the same.

Family:
Dustin’s immediate family consists of his mom, Sharon, his dad, Don, two younger sisters, Shari and Shaina, two dogs, Gomer & Rhomi and a fat cat, Spice.

Job Duties/Responsibilities at Advisors Excel:Dustin is a Case Design Analyst at Advisors Excel. The main function of his role within the Marketing Team is to help advisors create solutions to accomplish unique financial goals.

When asked what he liked most about her job at Advisors Excel, this is what Dustin had to say:

Hometown/State: Grantville, Kansas

Family:
Cory grew up with his mom, dad, brother and sister in the small town of Grantville. His older brother currently resides in Topeka, Kansas where he does demolition. Cory’s younger sister is currently attending Washburn University and is set to graduate in a year.

Job Duties/Responsibilities at Advisors Excel:
Cory is a Case Design Analyst, and he assists advisors with their clients’ financial plans. He also provides product knowledge and works to eliminate advisor and client confusion.

Family:
Josh has a relatively small family consisting of his mom (Deb), dad (Jim) and older brother (Jeff). His parents live in Norton, KS, and his brother lives in Colorado.

Josh is a Case Design Analyst at Advisors Excel. He works with our advisors as a resource to help them turn raw client data into clear, concise and easy-to-use illustrations that create solutions for each of their clients’ individual financial goals.

Family: 
Shannah grew up with her mom, dad and two sisters, Heather and Hannah. She is the proud mother to son, Taegan, and also has a niece, Halle, and a nephew, Jack.

Job Duties/Responsibilities at Advisors Excel:
Shannah works in the Marketing Oversight Department. Daily duties include performing complex reviews and audits with the daily annuity application workflow. She works alongside our insurance carriers in interpreting suitability requirements then incorporates that knowledge into Advisors Excel’s operational procedures. Shannah works diligently every day to make sure that business is issued and paid at maximum efficiency.

When asked what Shannah liked most about working at Advisors Excel, this is what Shannah had to say:  I enjoy working with everyone here and the family atmosphere that encompasses Advisors Excel. We work as a team with one common goal and to provide the best service we can give to our advisors at all times. Another great part of working here is being able to interact with our agents in person at our events as well as talking with them over the phone and getting to know them personally.
