Matt oversees the human resources function of the business and ensures AE has the appropriate policies in place to recruit and retain the best talent available, and provides employees with benefits that work for them and their families. In addition, he monitors the organizational culture and level of employee engagement. This entails evaluating training needs to provide team members with opportunities for professional and personal growth.
Matt earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass media from Washburn University. He lives in Topeka with his wife, Libby, his son, Walker, and his daughter, Makayla. When he isn’t in the office striving to improve the AE culture or spending time hanging out with his family, Matt enjoys playing a round or two of golf, attending sporting events and coaching his son’s athletic teams.
