Background:
Shawn started his career at Personalized Brokerage Services in Topeka, Kansas. In a little under 2 years he quickly rose to the top as an advanced marketer at PBS. During his time, Shawn served as their Annuity Sales Director prior to joining Advisors Excel.  After being at Advisors Excel for a few years he has quickly built one of the most successful books of business in the country as a marketing representative.  He currently assists over 75 of the top advisors in the country with marketing and business building needs and works with them in building and maintaining their business.  He believes that Advisors Excel is the largest, strongest, and, simply put, the best FMO in the country and realizes his responsibility is to bring the many tools of the company to help the advisors meet their goals and find more clients they can help. 

Education:
Graduate of Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Business Finance.

My personal goal: 
I set my goals high, and hope to have the largest book of business in the nation as a Marketer. Much like Advisors are constantly marketing to clients and prospects, I strive to market myself to Advisors.  I enjoy building my book of business one agent at a time and believe I have a lot to offer. I specialize in working with high end producers and feel by focusing in on those advisors that I have learned a lot more as to what they want and need from a marketer. I really enjoy meeting and working with new advisors each day. A big part of my job is getting to know them and  “listening” to them.   As simple as it is, if I listen, I’ll find exactly what each and every advisor will value from in our relationship.  I believe that idea sharing should be an integral part of what I do for the advisors I work with.  Because I am blessed to work with some of the best in the business, I believe sharing ideas amongst them will help sky rocket their business as much or more than anything else I can ever do. Personally, I strive to live my life based off of a value system and a strong foundation built on faith. 

Message to Clients:
I wake up every morning excited to go to work. I feel I have been blessed to have an opportunity to work with such great people on a day to day basis. I’m lucky to have found a career that I am passionate about and enjoy along with a great company who has set a very successful model for me to maximize my potential.  I’m lucky that I work with a small group of agents that do a lot of production as opposed to a lot of agents that do a little bit of production.  This makes my job a lot easier and makes it so that my advisors that I work with are not a number, but a person who I can get to know and feel good about working with.  Thank you all for trusting me and putting your confidence in me.  Together I know we can all hit our goals year after year and end up achieving our dreams.  I was told at a very young age by my father “surround yourself with successful people and you will soon find yourself as successful”.  We all pick who we work with and who we choose to build relationships with and I am honored to work with each and every advisor that I work with.   My personal guarantee to you is that I will work harder for you than any other marketer in the country.  I believe that great service, consistent idea sharing, and over-communicating timely information is the key to a very successful relationship.
